Reviews are nearing completion, but be ready for an avalanche of stories over the next 48 hours. With Halloween fast approaching, it seems only right to inundate you with undead-related fiction. And to start things off, here is a treat from the video files.
A hearty (and overdue) congratulations to site contributor Bret Hammond, whose story RURAL DEAD was recently republished in the anthology The Living Dead 2, alongside such zombie fiction legends as Robert Kirkman, David Wellington, and Max Brooks. See the book site for more details.
More good news: in the spirit of repentance your humble editors will be posting a minimum of one new story per day for the next 7 days. So be sure to check back often – each day by noon (CST) a new tale will appear for your instruction and enjoyment.
The current contest announcement will be delayed until October 20th – our apologies for the wait. TotZW has received an unprecedented number of submissions over the last few months, and we want to be sure to review 100% of them before making a decision.
So many thanks to our contributors and readers – without you this site is nothing. This prize period saw the most submissions of any so far, and we look forward to even more.
Today our repository of zombie fiction turns three. A huge thanks to the authors and illustrators who have made this site what it is. I’m sure our readers share the thrill of excitement when a new story is published to the site – a thrill that we, as editors, get to have a little early. So keep up the amazing work, all of you. As I know Mr. Brooks is fond of saying: Lead them to victory.
A huge thanks to all of our contributors and readers – without you this site is nothing. We owe the authors a debt of thanks for helping us succeed in the fight against the undead.
Thank you all for writing and reading the stories on our site. This contest period was the most heavily contested so far, and selecting winners has gotten more and more difficult.
Tales of the Zombie War is proud to present the first in a series of French translations of our stories thanks to the efforts of Nina Khmielnitzky. Please spread the word to your French-speaking compatriots in the fight against the undead.
